12/3/10 Some of my family and I took the island tour,I would recommend it. Very friendly staff, our Naturalist Hillary was knowledgeable along with being very personable. It was a nice tour of the harbor then as we went to the island we able to view much of the wildlife including several dolphins that swam under the boat. The island is a beautiful sand island where you can enjoy the scenery while collecting sea shells. I would do the tour again!

Our trip was really enhanced by Hillary she was so enthsiastic and bubbling with knowlege. My wife (Julie) and I had the very good fortune of taking your tour today (9/22/10). Originally from Boston, we now live year round in Kissimmee. We've never been to Tarpon Springs and thought it was about time we see what it was like. So, today we took a day trip up. When planning the trip I saw where AAA recommended your cruise so we put that on our agenda. Boy are we glad we did! The tour was just fantastic! Our captain, Brian, did a really good job; I think he came back with the same number that he left with. :-)
However, the real reason for writing is Hilary. She was just fantastic!!! She was knowledgeable, had a great personality and went out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable. She made a point of sitting and talking with every guest on the tour. What a remarkable young lady! Just so you know, my wife and I visit Walt Disney World quite often. I usually measure customer interactions and service against their high standards. Hilary is right up there with the best that Disney has to offer! Anyway, you're lucky to have her on your team. I just hope that your other tour guides are half as good as her. Please pass along to her a "thank you" for making our day so enjoyable. Mike & Julie (Kissimmee)

This trip was GREAT!! We saved this "event" for when company came. It was an awsome day! Heather was a great part of the cruise and she even showed us her "pet dolfin" (stuffed) since we did not actually see any that day. The beach was perfect!

My mother passed away recently and wanted her ashes scattered in the Gulf of Mexico. After visiting several web sites and speaking to multiple cruise providers, I chose Sun Line Cruises and could not have been more pleased. The people were easy to work with. We had about 20 relatives aboard and the crew could not have been friendlier or more accomodating. They were respectful and allowed us time to say our good byes. My wife gave the highest compliment when she told our children (after the cruise) 'I want you to do the exact same thing for me'.

We first found the Sun Line Cruise several years ago when visiting Tarpon Springs. Since then, we take the tour several times each year while wintering in the Tampa Bay area. We are members of their �frequent cruiser� club and earn at least one free cruise a season. The naturalists are very well informed. It�s a convenient way to spend some enjoyable time on the Gulf and to see the lighthouse.

We live in Nashville and we have always had boats there. When we bought a condo in Clearwater in 2005, we started taking boat rides in the area (so we didn't have to buy a boat in FL, my husband says!). We have gone on the Sunline Cruise in Tarpon Springs more than any other boat ride in the area. We love it because no matter how many times you go, you always see something different. It is never boring and very reasonably priced! Pam and Mikey and Susie are like family to us! We probably take this cruise 10 times a year. You will love it! Try the sunset cruise for a special treat!

My best friend, myself and our children were just in Tampa/Tarpon Springs last week (Aug3. We were just visiting Tarpon Springs to see the sites and we discovered the boat tours as we were parking. We did the Island Cruise and we LOVED IT as a matter of fact we loved it so much we did it twice that week. I highly recommend this to anyone who is visiting. I have grew up in Florida all my life but have never experienced anything like this. It makes me want to move to the area so I can do this more often. We will definatly be back, in April of 2010 as a matter of fact, we are planning our vacation now. Kodos to Capt Mike, Brian and I cant remember the lady's name that was on our second trip out but they were all great. Oh and not to forget Ms. Susie in the ticket office! We got our "frequent flyer" card and ready to use it again!

My sister and daughter took the two hour cruise to the Anclote Key Lighthouse. The proprietors were very knowledgable of the current events, history and ancestry of the Anclote River area; from plants to people to sea creatures and birs. They delivered their information in an entertaining manner which help maintain you attention. This was not a boring cruise. I would recommend this trip to anyone and I personally hope to take it again. Go ahead, GET YOUR FEET WET!!!

My husband and I went on the Island Adventure Tour when visiting the area because we are lighthouse buffs. It was one of the best boat tours we've experienced. We were fortunate enough not only to see the beautiful Anclote Key Lighthouse but many dolphins on our boat ride back. The staff was very informative and they had everything we needed, from extra sweatshirts for the cool breeze to binoculars. By far the most reasonably priced boat tour we've been on. Everyone was very nice and it was a beautiful cruise we saw a few dolphins and many birs including two ro three bald eagles. My family and I took the cruise out to Anclote Island last Sunday, and we had a great time! We saw dolphins, bald eagles, ospreys, and got to stop and visit Anclote's lighthouse. The boat furnishes binoculars, and the rise is very smooth and relaxing. Thanks to the captains who provided interesting information about the area and animals during our trip. A perfect day. We will be back.

hello :) i went on the fabulous Sun Line Cruise this past Sunday and i had a blasty blast :) i love anything to do with marine and i was very happy to be able to attend. I came with my mom and my older sister, who also enjoyed the experience. On the cruise, we saw bald eagles and dolphins!!! We picked up many, many shells, too. I really enjoyed listening to the tourguide. She was full of knowledge of the area. I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful experience and I hope I'll be able to ride with you again.

For the best 2 hour ++ cruise, everyone should take the "Island Aventure Cruise".
My wife, her parents and I had the best time because the Owner and the Captain go out of their way to make sure you see the best sights and get the full historical flavor of Tarpon Springs with great information about what a Sponge Capital it once was. They go out of their way...literally!...turning the 45 foot Catamaran around often to go back to dolphin sightings other points of interest.
