Our "Sea"Fari Adventure Cruise sets sail daily from the historic Sponge Docks, offering an exciting and highly informative, yet relaxed and intimate, 90 minute cruise, hosted by a professional eco-naturalist.

Take a cruise down the Anclote River, where you'll learn about the area and the seafaring industries it has spawned over the years. You'll glide across Tarpon Bayou and discover the abundance of life found in Florida's estuaries. A trip out of the mouth of the river follows, and can always set the stage for an encounter with dolphins, birds, and manatees. Kick back and relax for a 3-mile jaunt out to Anclote Key with its restored vintage lighthouse, and the surrounding sandbars. Learn about Florida's delicate estuarine environment. A stop by the birding area will make you appreciate our auto-focus binoculars as you view the bald eagles and other seashore birds.

After a stay at the birding area, you'll head back into the heart of the docks for an explanation of the history of the industry that put Tarpon Springs on the map - sponging.
